Port Stephens - Dolphin Watching

:: Isnt play with dolphin is fantastic? The scene of touching and kissing with the dolphins was often broadcasted via TV. The pleasure arised was expressed to be multi increadible as a result of having physical contact with dolphins.

Right at 2pm in the afternoon, we went for our dolphin watching cruise ride. Note that is dolphin "watching" only, no touching or playing. Cheated. Conned. I have no idea where could I have intimate physical touch with my dolphins.

We were served a cup of coffee and four slices of yucky biscuits on the cruise. The journey began sailing around Port Stephens.

The ocean is small though.

We were allowed to lay on this piece of fishing net to get closer to the sea. Being a not very water-friendly paranoid like me, the pay-off of bearing the risk of the broken net or wavy condition is extremely sucks unless I wanna commit suicide. Anyway no one wanted to do that.

Can you see the two dolphins, I mean thier fins ? They jumped up to the surface merely for 2 seconds and they already disapppeared in my view by the time i shot unless I have a high speed dslr. May be.

The Japanese old man with his Canon dslr. Japanese love dslr. Almost everyone owns one.

Three fins in the middle

Another cruise passsing by.

We squeezed to the front of the cruise and nearly got suffocated instead of sitting peacefully inside.

This is my piece of art work.

Theme: May Vin and the Blue Sky

Does it looks good?

Double - coloured ocean. The cutting line is fairly obvious seperating the light blue and dark blue water.

I saw no jelly fishie floating on the surface of the water.

So this is how i got burnt.

The Japanese old man with his dlsr actually shot our pics while we were shooting pictures. Until now, I never receive any credits in my account.

REaching the shore very soon

One of the I -dont -know -what Island in the middle of the ocean.

Thanks a lot to the kind Japanse Uncle for shooting such amazing picture of us.

This was the second shoot. In dealing with the language difficulty circumstance, somehow it was not as difficult as in our imagination. The secret is just to feel free to speak in english as we are comfortable with , and the uncle spoke to us in Japanese.

Let's check out y this lil video on how pretty girls posed !!

Nelson Bay

Sandy Beaches

:: White clouds are drifting as gentle as snow, silently passing the earth below. Once passed the hills and the rainbow and beyond, greeting the sunshine and then drifted away.

There is something absolutely missing in the beaches. Cant really figure out what the heck is missing even though i know there is something.... sand? sky? clouds? or waves? oh yes it took me a long time to find out. It's my Coconut trees !!! Where is my coconut tree ?

The beaches here are totally identical from those in the tropical islands. No coconut trees, far more plain and simple spreaded only with soft silky sand. The smell of the ocean is no strong though, as well as the size of the beach is much much smaller. Aussies are so pround of their beaches, are they, or me, eccentric nuts?

Leaving Hunter Valley, we proceeded to our next stop which is only 10 minutes drive away -Nelson Bay for lunch. We both brought our own lunch box craving cold food beside the bay.

First impression- The Beach is damn small, being mistaken as a lake.

First thing first, you know right ?

Hanging around the bay after enjoying our lunch. We climbed up the building hoping to seek for a better view, hopelessly the view is too narrow.

The only thing which attracted my attention were the boats behind us.

Aussie's Flag with a doggie behind me.

I developed a permanent sunburn as a reward of having such stupid trip. Damn the bloody sun. It was so cloudy that day but the UV rays are always very strong and harmful and I didnt even realise my skin was in the dangerous stage.

While we were relaxing on the bench under the shade, an aussie middle aged man approached us.

Aussie: Do you like Chocolates?
Me: Sure I am obssessed with chocolates :) You wanna buy me some ?
Aussie: Oh no there is a chocolate shop right behind there.
Me: WTF
(After he left)

May Vin: Wow you flirted with him ya ...
Me: No where got wo...he can be my dad. (Actually I thought he wanna treat us chocolates)

-__-

Introducing the Chocolate Factory Company :)

Reminded me aboout Charlie and the Chocolate Factory :)

May Vin is too obssesses with Chocolates. One small pack of chocolates already costs $10. Crazy insane blood sucker. Hey aussie dont think we are nuts ok ? The retailers stared at us like we would be the next shop-lifters. And I was too afraid to take pictures of the chocolates in case they grabbed away me sony-T5.

Wandering around for pictures. A lovely 60s Japanse couples posing around with thier dslr. They approached us and spoke to us in Japanese. Hell, I know they wanted us to help them take pictures :)

London bridge is falling down, falling down. *runs*

The water is crystal clear. I can see fishies swimming around underneath the water.

I hope my dreams will come true

I have trauma against water because I dont even know how to swim. Obviously I am not kidding. If you wanna kill me just push me down to the water, simple. Can anyone teach me how to swim like a fishie ?

I noticed my shinny hair is freaking long after one year crap.

Sexy posey

Rocks under the water but I saw no cloral or algae growing on the rocks.

Enjoying the breeze without realising we were exposing ourself to the sunburn.

The view is desperately lousy because of the size of the beach far cry from those Asia's beaches, not to mention the Hawaii beaches. So dont be fooled by our pictures because you know dammit we have excellent photography skills that could make everything looks wonderful and so close to the nature. Especially with chun chics as the main dish I guess you wont even bother to pay attention to the scenery. Am i right ?

Stay Cool for next update. Muaks !

Hunter Valley - Wine Tasting

:: May Vin is very christian. The way she talks, the way she thinks, is always related to Jesus +++ One day she raised a rubbish question to me. " What do you achieve in this year?" Oh my Jesus God I never ever think about such crap as I would just always follow the current. Running out of idea, I threw her a pharse: " I'm graduated, is this considered?" Sometimes I have to reward myself, for being a graduate degree holder.

A Visit to Hunter Valley

Seriously, I never been for travelling across Sydney before, despite my friends had ran through the whole sydney, Melbourne, Gold Coast and Queensland.

The reason is obvious. As mentioned in the post earlier, they are rich kids with generous parents. I was very inspired that they can get whatever they want. Just that I am extraordinary.

In order to satisfy my desire, I think this is the good timing to reward myself with a day trip.

We departed at 9am and took approximately 2.5 hours drive to Hunter Valley. I was sort of disappointed because I thought it would be some sort of huge "Valley", with lush greeny surroundings enables us to "hunt" something around. Who knows it is just a small tiny shop. wtf.

There are 32 vain pictures here. Its time for you to scroll fast fast !!!

Finally Arrived !! Yeah !!!

First thing fisrt, Camwhore !

The shop is very small with a very "western style" interior design. That day, we had wine tastings there. You know I'm wine blinded so it is impossible for me to remember the wine's name, so dont eexpect me to remember those Chardonnay or something like that.

Nevertheless, the taste of the wines remained in my memory. Upon our arrival, we were presented two types of red wine and white wine. They were just tasted like , ok, wine. Wine is wine for me and doesnt make any difference. One of the white wine tasted fantastically good , with just the right ratio of grapes and wine. Most importantly it is SWEET, not bitter at all haha. Another red wine is too strong for non-alchoholic drinker. Very very strong until I can felt the tingling on my throat.

.

They have other stuffs for sale such as Cheeses and spices.

Wines lining up on the rack.

May Vin is the most non-alchohol-friendly person I ever seen, she couldnt even sip a little bit at all. Of course, all of the wine untimately poured into my glass. gosh .

I have no idea what sort of wine, wine, wine...

May Vin is super duper non-camera friendly as well. To my surpirse, she dares to forget to charge both of her spare batterries 0_Olll. Luckily I have fully charged my only one battery in the world, free my memory stick's space days before.

Take a close look. Nice right ?

Anyhow, camwhoring is the main reason I got to Hunter Valley:)

I have to pardon May Vin's photography skill. She likes to take pictures either with my head chopped-off, or just simply clicked clicked clicked and never try to avoid my most hated angles.

At the compound of the shop.

There are some grapes growing in adjacent to the shop but are quite limited. That is prolly planted just for tourism purposes.

Ladies and Gentlemen, I hereby proudly announced that this is my first time ever to see grapes trees :) The cute lil grapes are so small just merely the size of the penuts. They are all not rippen yet so I couldnt tell whether are the red or green grapes at this point of time. I prefer red one though.

This is the buliding of the shop. It looks like a cottage in the fairy tale, without a chimney attached on top of the roof.

I wanna take picture with that red flower that matched my flora printed halter neck top but it ended up like this !!!

Some unknown greenly plants around.

Me with the grapes

May Vin dislikes striking colours. Conversely, I am made out of colours. She is always, I mean everyday in black, or grey, or brown, or white. The most she could go is for green and blue. She shouted at me when she saw me wearing the same yellow cardigan as hers and questioned my why I copied hers. Dear how I know you will break your own tradition by wearing yellow???

Actually I wanna take picture with this sign board but again, she cut off the edge of the sign board. May Vin !!!!!

Dont you think this looks like Snoopy's house ?

Me and my Snoopy's House. But wait, wait, again, She cut half of my honey's house ?!?!

Tiny lil yellow - fragile daisy founded stooding alone isolated in the greenly grass. There are plenty by the roadside but we couldnt stop half way. what a shame.

I supposed this is one of the spices of the red roses but they looked kinda different from those for sale in the market for valentine.

Two rolls of grapes trees.

May vin is very attractive though :). Hey she is available so ......

Me with my grapes

Oh my grapes !!! I wanna steel some home!

This was the last picture taken before I left.

  • Times up. Bye bye Hunter Valley ! Next stop-Nelson Bay- a lots of goodies coming soon !!!
