Lord Mayor's Reception

:: I didnt know where the hell Town Hall is located until this i was invited to this particular formal function for international students.

This is Town Hall,Sydney.

The function began aT 5.30PM but i saw a huge crowd stucking in front of the main entrance. It was about 1000 guests were to attend the Lord Mayor's welcome.

The interior is not as grand as what it should be but it is kinda authentic. In fact it is kinda oldish and honestly it needs further renovation to enhance the royality of the building.

Met my long lost secondary mate here. Surprised! i think the organiser or the western-style food serving is so lousy. Instead of displaying all of the food on the table, the waiters and waitress served them one plate by one plate and kept going in and out of the kitchen. what happen to the guests was we were fighting for the food hostily once we saw the waiter walked out from the kitchen carrying a plate of food.

I luv my dress very much. Especially the bubble dress design with a cute ribbon in front.

I love orange juice simply because i cant drink at all.

the black and white checked floor had brought me to the ancient ages.

Finally i managed to find the way up to the back stage after busy looking and investigating around.

this is my favorite pic of the day.

Pirated VCDs

Top 9 reasons why we SHOULD buy pirated VCDs

:: There is no such thing called "copyright" in Malaysia. Pirated VCDs are cheap and is worthwhile to breach the law.

1. Family bond because every weekend, when you go to wangsa maju JJ, you can see little kids running to the VCD shop to select their favourite Pokemon cartoon VCD. And then mommy will come along to find her favourite Teresa Teng VCD. Next comes big sister to select her F4 VCD. And lastly, big bro and daddy searching for the latest movies ... and try to eye for some you-know-what VCD. Anyway, the whole idea is, the pirated VCD shop is like a place for weekend family reunion. When was the last time you saw daddy buying little Billy a VCD in Speedy Video?

2. Cinema sucks. When you reach the cinema, you'll have to line up for 15 minutes before it's your turn to get the ticket. By then, they tell you ticket sold out. So you buy tickets for the next show and have to wait another 3 hours. When the time comes, the ticket usher stops you from bringing nasi lemak and cha-kuay-teow into the hall. So you're forced to line up another 10 minutes in the snack bar. By then, you're already late for the show. Lampu sudah tutup (Lights are off)when you go in. Oooppss.. terjatuh (fell over) and everyone laughs at you. Next, the cinema bores you with 15 minutes of iklan (Advertisement). Frankly speaking, I dunno why the government ban 'triple x' VCDs when all the beer commercials in the cinema feature sluts dancing around. Later, your handphone rings and everyone boos you. At last, the show ends but you'll need to beratur (que) through the smelly exit. After 30 minutes, you notice that your handphone is lost. The only thing good about cinemas is the fact that you can throw kua-chi on the floor.

3. Customer Friendly Sellers. Buying VCDs from the stall is like dining in a luxury restaurant. First, those blond hair sellers will greet you with 'leng-lui'(pretty). It's now time to order the meal. If you know what to order, they will search the title for you. But if you're undecided, these fellas will suggest some meals for you.Strangely, all movies (according to them) are nice to watch. When you've finished, here comes the main course. The rectangular box containing all the finest artistic international stuff.(porn?).. And you can bargain too! But when you buy VCDs from Speedy Video, the shop assistants will stand few meters away from you, with their arms tied and eyes alert, thinking that you're another shoplifter.

4. Beli barang buatan Malaysia (Buy Malaysian Made Product) The title says it all. No need to say more.

5. You go to the movies...while watching the most suspense part in a love movie....as the guy and girl are about to kiss...all of a sudden, the screen goes into matrix mode. And then it changes to some dull scene. Doesn't this sound familiar? Say thank you to our censorship board for helping us remove the "naughty" parts. You never get this when you buy pirated CDs.

6. 6 years ago, piracy was a minority because of the original CD pricing and contents. 3 years ago, they increased original CD prices by 70% and say it's because of import duties, tax and other crap. While at the same time, the pirated CD prices drop by 50% - 70%. Customers would prefer to buy from a sale right?

7. Piracy helps students to learn new programs at a reduced price cost. If every student is going to spend RM800 just to buy Adobe Photoshop, then Malaysia would lag behind in the computer graphics industry. So in the long run, Malaysia's economic status becomes better with more knowledgeable citizens.

8. As people are willing to spend money on pirated CDs but not that willing to buy original cds, they are circulating the money and helping to increase the GDP

9. Pirated VCDs offer the latest movies, even before they are shown in the U.S.! Compare this to original VCDs, where you have to wait for a few months after the movie is first released.

Let's go to the night market! :D

~Once Upon a Time~

:: Little Piggie

Animal Zodiac Sign : Ox.
Chinese Horoscope: Water

According to my fate and destiny, my characteristics, subconscious, and behavior modes, are represented by river.

The river can be very rough and quickly change directions, unlike the still Sakura tree. The river is formed by many streams and eventually flows to the ocean; the water changing forms along the way. Similiary as the river, I could easily adjust myself to fit the environment with many different identities, regardless of how bad the environment can be.

In my entire life, regardless of the flow or direction, I'm still myself, immature sometimes, keeping an innocent, true heart to overcome all kinds of difficulties.

I just found these old pics in my photobucket. They retain my childhood's memories. I was approximately 2 years old at the time. Spontaneously this song "Que Sara Sara" came to my mind:

Rhythm: Waltz
Tempo: 100
Theme: Light & Easy

When I was just a little girl,
I asked my mother, "What will I be?
Will I be pretty, will I be rich?"
Here's what she said to me...

(Chorus):
Que Sara, Sara
Whatever will be, will be
The future's not ours to see
Que Sara, Sara
What will be, will be

When I grew up and fell in love,
I asked my sweetheart, "What lies ahead?
Will we have rainbows day after day?"
Here's what my sweetheart said...

What my sweetheart said???? ll-_-
Ok that's all i could remember :D

Chubby lil piggy had been extremely camera -sensitive. Check out how photogenic the lil piggy was.

This is my best pic ever. Taken right in the car park of my apartment.

Yes somehow I'm still sincerely looking forward to eternality. Strawberries are still my lovers after 21 years.

A natural shoot would turn the whole thing up-side down.

Titiwangsa

See, i was forced to look at the camera.

Admire the Art of Photography. A typical beach girl wannabe. This pic reminds me that i was born in a tropical country, with skinny coconut trees growing adjacent the beach.

Couldnt get rid of my chubby face even when had reach 15. My dimple was stil there. My passion towards photography began to reach the peak at this age.

So tanned now... wait wait wait... my dimple had gone :(
