My Graduation 2007

Im graduated !!!!

My first graduation ceremony was held at 14th May 2007, The Great Hall, UTS 2.30pm.

I had rushed there from Chastwood at 2.00pm to collect my gown. The gowning staffs are very efficient and friendly enough to help me to fit in the gown.

Thanks everyone for coming :) especially to may vinn and eugene. They are my temporary "parents" because my parents were absent for the ceremony. Forunately i still be able to receive two bouquets from May Vinn and my boss.

I will be having another graduation by next year May. Probably will be wearing the same heavy and warm gown again.

Reflection in New Year 2007, Sydney

:: This was the first time and the only time that i had actually went for a new year countdown. The fireworks at the Sydney Harbour Bridge is the best on earth so definitely i wont miss it !

I headed to Fenny's apartment around 8.30 pm. We heard that many people being in circular quay early in the evening just to get themselves an ideal spot. We are probably too late to go for that. Sing Ling and her boyfriend came to pick us up to Darling Harbour for the earlier 9pm fireworks show. The fireworks was good indeed and the whole place was extremely crowded to move yourself.

After that we followed the slow moving crowd to walk to the circular quay but to my surprise was there were so many people stucking on the stairs of the bridge and we could hardly breath. We hold hands tightly as noticing it might me inevitable to lost ourselves. The journey through walking up the stairs was an unforgetably awful experience because we felt that we were like Vietmanese refugee running away to somewhere.

We walked through the George street and take pictures without noticing the entrance to opera house was closed because there were too many people :(

anxiously, we ran towards the harbour bridge via the rocks. The place was very crowded too but luckily we managed to get in. The crowd was not as agressive as Malaysian, anyway they still pushing each other and i can tell you i nearly got suffocated to death. The air circulation was very poor.

We took the pics during the fireworks. It lasted only for 15mins but it was marvellous. Couples kissing and hugging each other, in the romantic atmosphere. suddenly i got kissed too :) by Sing Lin.

Happy New Year 2007 !!!!!

Sing Lin's bf took us to Maisy's Cafe at Neutral Bay for supper. The cafe is opened 24/7 and i believed it is hardly to find a cafe that opened late in sydney. There are only a few stuffs in the menu but i reckon they are really worth to try. I had a piece of new york cheesecake which was the best cheesecake ever sent me to heaven. Oh im drowning.........

Procrastination

It is 12.11 am i am blogging out here. I am such a procrastinator. Supposed to be studying for my Corporate Finance mid term which is weighted 35% overall, I am inevitably involved in many procrastination activities. I dont know how to calculate value on real options which i supposed to know, i dont understand how to calculate tracking portfolio and covariance stuffs, but having a wifi here is indeed a good procrastination tool though. Today is a depress session for me. I have panda eyes, i cant even sleep more than 7 hours which i previously addicted to a 10 hr sleep. My so called stupid landlady is gonna increase my rent, which sucks all of my salary. It is almost inevitable since nowadays rental is shooting high up. Fuck her. damn .... i wanna move house as soon as i finished exam. save me !

Anna Beach

:: You know what? This is the Biggest beach I ever seen in Australia. Anna's Beach is fantastically fabulous. Located in the countryside of Sydney, it is totally seperated from the busy city. The beachline is endless as what I barely seen, soft silky white sand without any single stain, there are tones of sand form sand mountains ideal for sand boarding and the beach is super duper big as a mini desert. Crystal clear water with icy temperature, everything is just so pure.










Greenly small plants growing along the coast, being mistaken as the oasis.

I just wanna get closer to the nature, by soaking my foot into the icy water.

The beach is mine, it belongs to me !!!

Mussels are precious in Australia. The regulation strictly protect the wildlife. Whoever took the mussel homoe would be fined $5000. Anyway, the mussels are poisonous to be consumed.

Lord Mayor's Reception

:: I didnt know where the hell Town Hall is located until this i was invited to this particular formal function for international students.


This is Town Hall,Sydney.

The function began aT 5.30PM but i saw a huge crowd stucking in front of the main entrance. It was about 1000 guests were to attend the Lord Mayor's welcome.




The interior is not as grand as what it should be but it is kinda authentic. In fact it is kinda oldish and honestly it needs further renovation to enhance the royality of the building.

Met my long lost secondary mate here. Surprised! i think the organiser or the western-style food serving is so lousy. Instead of displaying all of the food on the table, the waiters and waitress served them one plate by one plate and kept going in and out of the kitchen. what happen to the guests was we were fighting for the food hostily once we saw the waiter walked out from the kitchen carrying a plate of food.

I luv my dress very much. Especially the bubble dress design with a cute ribbon in front.

I love orange juice simply because i cant drink at all.

the black and white checked floor had brought me to the ancient ages.

Finally i managed to find the way up to the back stage after busy looking and investigating around.
